Sustainable development of the company is now a goal for all modern enterprises. In recent years, many more companies have been required to show good financial health and good corporate governance in addition to making profits. Therefore, the scope of corporate compliance management has expanded from the original focus on legal compliance to all areas of corporate governance and strategy. This paper studies the relationship between corporate compliance management and corporate sustainable development based on a literature review. Good compliance management can reduce legal and operating risks, improve corporate governance, enhance the confidence of stakeholders, and protect the reputation of the company to promote all-round development. There are divided responsibilities for the problems in implementation, staff resistance, costs and frequent changes in regulations. Therefore, it is proposed that compliance should be viewed as a strength of the organisation to promote good governance and sustainable development, not just a legal requirement.
