Peer Review Policy
International Journal of Management and Organizational Research (IJMOR) adheres to the highest standards of integrity and academic rigor. All research articles published in this journal undergo a comprehensive peer-review process to ensure they contribute significantly to the global discourse on management and organizational sciences.
Double-Blind Peer Review Framework
To ensure an objective and unbiased evaluation, IJMOR operates a Double-Blind Peer Review system:
- The identity of the author(s) is never disclosed to the reviewers.
- The identity of the reviewers is never disclosed to the author(s).
- Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts in a way that does not reveal their identity or affiliation within the main body of the text.
Editorial Oversight & Quality Control
The review process is managed through a structured hierarchy to maintain quality:
- Initial Internal Assessment: Every submission is first screened by the Editorial Office for originality, relevance to management theory, and adherence to the journal's ethical guidelines. Papers with high plagiarism or low relevance are rejected at the desk stage.
- External Expert Evaluation: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to a minimum of two independent external subject-matter experts. These reviewers are chosen based on their proven research record in specific organizational or managerial domains.
Reviewer Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers are asked to provide a critical and constructive analysis based on the following pillars:
- Theoretical Contribution: Does the work extend existing management theories or propose new insights?
- Methodological Rigor: Is the research design, data collection, and statistical/qualitative analysis robust and transparent?
- Managerial Implications: Does the research offer practical value for organizational leaders or policymakers?
- Clarity and Structure: Is the manuscript written in a clear, logical, and professional academic style?
Decision-Making Authority
The final decision regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief or the assigned Section Editor. This decision is based on the collective recommendations of the reviewers and the manuscript’s alignment with the journal’s strategic goals.
If reviewers' opinions conflict, a third expert opinion may be sought to ensure a fair outcome.
Ethical Responsibilities & Confidentiality
- Confidentiality: All manuscripts are treated as privileged communications. Reviewers are strictly prohibited from sharing, citing, or utilizing the data before the article is officially published.
- Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must recuse themselves if they identify any potential conflict of interest (financial, professional, or personal) with the authors or the research content.
- Integrity: IJMOR expects reviewers to be objective and provide feedback that is free from personal bias or derogatory comments.
