Abstract

This review seeks to establish a theoretical framework elucidating the role of strategic intelligence in fostering intellectual security among university faculty members operating within academic settings. Synthesizing a corpus of empirical and theoretical contributions from premier journals in strategic management and organization studies, and adhering to the PRISMA 2020 protocol, the analysis draws upon English-language studies published from 2015 to 2026, sourced from the Scopus database. The review specifically examines the influence of strategic intelligence on intellectual security outcomes. Findings reveal that the effective deployment of strategic intelligence applications necessitates holistic approaches that converge technological development with fortified managerial and legal capacities for information verification and intellectual property protection. In view of the limited scholarship intersecting strategic intelligence and intellectual security, this review advocates for further inquiry employing quantitative, qualitative, and exploratory designs across this expansive scientific terrain.
