Abstract

Universal Parallel Accounting (UPA) is SAP strategic solution for harmonizing parallel accounting requirements in global enterprises. UPA leverages the Universal Journal in SAP S/4HANA to deliver consistent support for multiple accounting principles, currencies and fiscal year variants. This article provides an good understanding about UPA’s architecture, benefits, implementation strategies and use cases.
