The Mediating Role of Organizational Culture between Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation

Abstract

The current study aims to identify the mediating role of organizational culture in the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation in the General Directorate of Education in Najaf Governorate. AI was measured through systems and programs, equipment and infrastructure, and human resource capacity. Organizational culture was used as the mediating variable, measured through effects, beliefs and values, basic assumptions, cultural mindset, and cultural practices. Digital transformation was measured through the digital transformation of internal processes, the digital transformation of business models, the digital transformation of employee experience, and the digital transformation of customers. The study was conducted on 115 individuals working in the General Directorate of Education in Najaf Governorate. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant positive effect of AI on digital transformation, given the mediating role of organizational culture among employees in the General Directorate of Education in Najaf Governorate.
